Important Message to all members

As some of you may already be aware, a handful of individuals from our club have tested positive for COVID-19. This is to be expected as we return to a more normalized environment and close contacts with other individuals increase across our community. The board of directors was aware that this would likely be an eventual outcome and have put in place the appropriate policies to respond to the situation. As such – out of an abundance of caution – we will be suspending league play for a one week period and will return to a regular draw schedule the week of March 14th. The Moose Bonspiel will go on as planned this weekend however.

We understand that there is a range of emotions and opinions on this decision, and ultimately the goal of the board is to safeguard the health of our membership, all the while ensuring the viability of the club moving forward. As federal and provincial restrictions ease in the coming months, we will continue to follow the best recommendations from the EOHU and act in the best interest of the club and it’s members. We ask that our membership do the same and refrain from playing if they are feeling unwell. That said, positive cases will happen from time to time and we will continue to navigate this environment together on our way back to a time where we are fully open.
