Hello everyone,

Our steak bonspiel is just around the corner. If you haven’t signed up yet time is running out and you don’t want to miss out on this fantastic event. You can sign up at the club or by contacting Peggy Lafave. If you will not compete in the Bonspiel but wish to join us for supper and enjoy the steak dinner, the cost is 25$ per person and you MUST pre-sign up by Wednesday by emailing Jen Fraser at jen_fraser@xplornet.ca

We are also looking for a couple of extra hands to help out in the kitchen for this event. We understand that that a lot of you are playing and don’t know your times yet, but your help is appreciated. Please see details below from Jen Fraser as to what is required and reach out to her directly if you are able to help (jen_fraser@xplornet.ca).

Saturday, April 9

I need a few people to set out lunch, serve and clean up. I can’t be there (it’s Reid’s birthday party). Everything will be ready for you, you will just need heat the soup, set out the platters and tidy up. With a serve time of 11:15-11:30 to about 1:30

Then Heinz will need a team to cook potatoes (baked), get salad ready, do set up and clean up for the dinner portion of the evening. I will do as much prep as I can ahead of time.
